How to Get the Most Out of Your Lemonhead LA Spacecase Pro Palette: A Step-by-Step Guide

Welcome to the World’s First Professional Glitter Palette!

Introducing Spacecase® Glitter Pro Palette—the world’s first professional glitter palette! I’m Megan, founder of Lemonhead LA, and I’m here to guide you through every step of using your palette to ensure you’re getting the best out of this unique product.

Step 1: Give the Palette a Quick “Smack” to Settle Contents

During shipping, glitter gels can shift slightly. To ensure all contents are evenly distributed, give the palette a gentle “smack” to settle everything down before opening.

Step 2: Open the Palette Carefully

Our palettes have secure clips to keep them airtight, which can sometimes feel a bit snug. Carefully pop open each clip and familiarize yourself with how the lid sits. For our Pro 24 Palette, make sure the lid goes on in the correct orientation to avoid breaking any clips—this helps keep your palette in perfect condition!

Step 3: Scoop Out Product with the Palette Knife

Using a small brush, or built-in palette knife (included with the PRO 24 palette), scoop out just enough glitter for your look. This keeps your palette tidy and helps prevent product from drying out. Immediately secure the lid to keep the product fresh, as these glitter gels are water-based and can dry out with prolonged exposure to air.

Step 4: Keep Your Palette Hydrated

To ensure your glitters stay as hydrated as the day you first opened it, mist the palette with distilled water every few uses. If you prevent the glitter from drying in the first place you'll never need to spend time rehydrating it!

Step 5: Rehydrate Accidentally Dried-Out Product

If you ever leave the lid off overnight, don’t worry! Just add a few drops of distilled water (start with 3-5 drops) and gently stir using the back of a skinny makeup brush (end of a disposable spoolie works great too) to bring the product back to its perfect signature consistency.

Step 6: Using Lemon.Aid Mixing Medium for Older Palettes

For an older palette with glitter that may have dried out, use our Lemon.Aid Mixing Medium to revive each shade on demand. Place a small amount on the back of your hand, mix it with a dried-out glitter, and voila! We recommend only using Lemon.Aid externally with the palette rather than adding it directly inside to keep the product’s original texture intact.
